cvuZRW. PREPARATION Prepare a plates or plates max. of 4 with 2 fish and 5 biscuits on each. Hide the full boxes away so that they are not seen when the children come you sometimes feel that you have nothing to offer Jesus? You say I can't do anything special. I can't play a sport like so and so, or I can't sing like that person, or I am too shy to do anything! There was once a boy whose mother gave him 5 loaves and two fish for his lunch. It was a little like this plate of food that I have here. show one of the plates. The Bible does not give us his name, but lets call him Joshua. He wanted to go an hear Jesus and was very excited. He was very surprised to find SO many people there - yes, over 5000 men, and that did not include the women and the children, and there were many there just like him. He pushed forward to be near Jesus so that he could see him clearly and hear what he had to little later he heard Jesus and his disciples having a conversation about food. What was that? They were saying that people were hungry and there was not enough food. One of the disciples was saying that it would take a huge amount of money to buy food that would even give everyone just one bite. Joshua looked around him. It seemed that his mom was the only one who had given him any food. He began to feel hungry, but he felt shy to eat his food in front of the others. He wanted to share, but who would he share it with? Then he got an idea! He would ask one of the Joshua made his way to a friendly looking disciple called Andrew, and offerred his food. Andrew was so kind. He looked at Joshua and gave him a broad smile. He put his arm over his shoulder and led him over to Jesus. Joshua felt quite nervous, but also very special! All the crowd could see him. Jesus made him feel so welcome. He thanked Joshua for the 5 loaves and 2 fishes. Then, instead of eating it or sharing it with a few people, he asked the disciples to get everyone to sit down. That took some doing! It was quite some time before everyone was seated. Jesus took the loaves and fishes and lifting his arms in the air, he blessed them. Then the most amazing thing happenned. Jesus began to break off pieces of bread and fish, and the more he broke the more there seemed to be. People looked with huge eyes! They blinked. Was this really what they were seeing? Maybe they were they were not dreaming! From the 2 fish and 5 loaves, there was enough food to feed all 5000 men plus women and children. What excitement! And when everyone had had enough there were still 12 basketfulls left over! Jesus took the small gift that the boy gave and used it in a special can use the gift that we have and use it as well. Maybe we find it easy to talk to others, and we can make them feel better when they are feeling sad. Maybe you are able to share your time, or your computer, or your games, with someone that does not have. They will see what you have done and begin to help others as well. Maybe we do well in sport and we can show others that we follow Jesus by being fair and not getting upset while playing sport. Through that others in the team may see that and change their attitudes. A whole team could change from you using what you have. Slowly the whole team may become better. It may be in sharing your pocket money. There are many ways we can share the gifts and talents that we I have here not just one plate, but 4 plates with loaves and fish. Who would like one?As soon as they have been "claimed" say Hold on! You have just been given 5 loaves and 2 fish. What did the boy who got them in our story do with them? That's right, he shared them. Now how about you sharing them with others? How did that feel? It is not always easy to share what we have got. Sometimes we think our posessions are too valuable to share. Maybe they will get broken. But Jesus wants us to share no matter how hard it may be! And he promises that he will take the little that we have and use look what I have here! When the boy shared what he had, everyone got! I have enough here for everyone - so come and get it!Dear Jesus. Please help me to share what I have and would you then use it in a special way. Thank you that nothing we bring is ever too small for you to use.
When you experience the hope and grace that God has extended to you, it is only natural to have a desire to share that gift with others. It becomes something you WANT to do rather than something you HAVE to do. It is a natural response of experiencing the deep love of God. YOUTH GROUP LESSON ON SHARING YOUR FAITH DOWNLOAD THE PDF OF THIS LESSON Written by Carrie Busch Bible Matthew 2816-20 Bottom Line When we experience the hope and grace that God has extended to us, it is only natural to have a desire to share that gift with others. OPENING ACTIVITY MY FAVORITE THINGS SUPPLIES Marker/Whiteboard Poster board or large construction paper one sheet per student Crayons/ markers ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS Say Today’s opening activity is going to center on the things that we love! We’ll discuss some of our favorite things and maybe even try to convince the rest of the group to like them, too. Hand out a piece of poster board/construction paper and crayons/markers to each student. Each student will be making a poster that celebrates his or her favorite things. Students can put as many “favorites” as they want on their posters, and they can decorate the posters however they see fit. Tell the students that this is their chance to convince each other of their “faves.” On the whiteboard, write a list of potential topics examples below so students can get some ideas if they’re having trouble getting started. Examples might include TV show Movie Color Actor/Actress Teacher Subject Song Band Restaurant Fast food meal Soda flavor Once students have completed their posters, spend some time letting the students tell everyone about their favorites. Challenge them on a few of their choices to liven up the conversation and have them defend their opinions. This will set you up for today’s lesson on sharing their faith. TEACH Read Matthew 2816-20 16 The eleven followers went to Galilee to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 On the mountain they saw Jesus and worshiped him, but some of them did not believe it was really Jesus. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All power in heaven and on earth is given to me. 19 So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age.” After Jesus was resurrected, he appeared to the disciples telling them to go and share his message with everyone. He’s telling us to do the same. When you experience the deep love of God, and your life is changed from the inside out, your natural response is to WANT to share that with others. Today’s bottom line is When you experience the hope and grace that God has extended to you, it is only natural to share that gift with others. It becomes something you WANT to do rather than something you HAVE to do. It is a natural response of experiencing the deep love of God. Ask yourself, when is the last time you recommended something to a friend or family member? Maybe you loved a certain menu item at your favorite restaurant, or maybe you told your friends about a movie you saw last week that they just had to see. Or maybe you recommended a TV show on Netflix or a series on Hulu. No matter what, chances are you’ve made hundreds of recommendations in your lifetime, and you probably didn’t think twice about it. Why? Because, as human beings, we love for others to share in our joy when we find something awesome! We love to tell others about our favorite experiences, foods, restaurants, and more because we want them to experience what we have! The same is true when it comes to our relationship with Jesus. In our game today we shared with others our favorite things. It’s easy and natural for us to share that with others…because we feel strongly about our convictions. Similarly, when we experience God’s deep love, grace and forgiveness through Jesus….we want to share his message with them. Then, we simply look for opportunities to do share our faith. We don’t have to memorize a script or follow any prescribed steps. End lesson. All we have to do is listen to God’s voice. Pay attention to what God is doing in the lives of others. Ask God for the words to say at the right time. Rely on God’s guidance. Trust that He’ll show us when and how to share the message of Jesus with others. Close in prayer. Renungan harian rohani Kristen untuk anak muda singkatKumpulan Renungan Harian Rohani Kristen untuk Pemuda1. Pemuda Kristiani Harus Menjadi Teladan2.
